Over the past 22 years, I have earned certifications in multiple modalities that represent a wide spectrum of Western Medical and Orthopedic-based therapies that include: Deep Tissue, Myo-fascial Release, NeuroMuscular and Sports/Orthopedics and Relaxation Therapies that include Swedish, Hot Stones and Reiki.
What makes me unique, in the massage therapy profession, is my specialized certifications in Eastern/Ancient forms of therapy that include Japanese Shiatsu, Chinese Tuina and Thai Yoga Massage. I also earned a teaching certificate and particiapte regularly in Martial Arts.
Having been fortunate to start my professional career in Ayurvedic Medicine at The Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa in AZ, I gained great experience, knowledge and passion that led me to the decision that massage therapy would be my profession.
Since my return to the Midwest over 10 years ago, I have built my practice by working at Rehabilitative Massage & Bodywork and with a Doctor of Chiropractic. I have successfully treated soft tissue injuries, chronic pain patterns, back/neck issues and more advanced conditions like Sacral Iliac joint problems, thoracic outlet syndrome, frozen shoulder and TMJ.
In order to offer a very unique and successful modality that blends the best of Western and Chinese Medicine, I advanced my training and became certified in
Touch for Health Kinesiology.
As you can see, my quest for knowledge has motivated me to study a variety of bodywork modalities. Some of the more enlightening have been Tuina, Fijian Foot Massage, Bamboo Massage and Ohashi Shiatsu. All of my studies have lead me on a journey to learn the secrets and solve the mystery of unraveling painful conditions of the body.
